Advanced thrombectomy saves woman after severe heart attack
Doctors at KIMS Saveera Hospital treated a 60-year-old woman with a severe heart attack caused by a massive clot blocking a major coronary artery. After conventional methods failed, doctors used the CATRx-Penumbra mechanical thrombectomy system to remove the clot, followed by balloon angioplasty and two stents, restoring normal blood flow.
