Advocate demands CJI Gavai withdraw 'Go ask Lord Vishnu' remark, calls it 'hurtful'
An advocate has written a letter to CJI BR Gavai demanding that he immediately withdraw his "hurtful" remarks against Lord Vishnu and Hindu sentiments. "Go and ask the deity himself to do something. If...you're a strong devotee of Lord Vishnu, then you pray and do some meditation," CJI had said while rejecting a plea seeking restoration of Lord Vishnu idol.
