Advocate Satyam Singh Rajpoot, in an open letter to CJI BR Gavai, urged him to reconsider and withdraw his "Go and ask the deity itself" remark. He also urged CJI Gavai to issue "appropriate clarification" that may help "heal wounds caused to religious sentiments of Hindu devotees".
