Eminent aerospace scientist and Padma Vibhushan awardee Roddam Narasimha died of brain haemorrhage at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Monday. He was 87 at the time of death, and is survived by his wife and daughter. Narasimha taught at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1962-1999 and also served as Director of National Aerospace Laboratories from 1984 to 1993.
