An Afghan woman lynched by a mob for allegedly burning a copy of the Quran was pronounced innocent of the act by Afghanistan’s top criminal investigator. Police have arrested 13 people, including 8 police officers for standing by without helping the 27-year-old Farkhunda, as she was beaten with sticks and set alight by a mob in Kabul on Thursday.
