Since seizing Ghazni in August 2021, the Taliban have imposed harsh restrictions on women’s rights, limiting access to health, education, and work. Freedom of movement and expression has also been suppressed. Combined with a worsening humanitarian crisis, aid cutoffs, and economic collapse, millions now struggle to access food, water, shelter, and health care across Afghanistan.
