African American & Hispanic voters backed Democrats in US midterms: Report

The US midterm elections saw African American, Hispanic and young, college-educated voters shift towards Democratic candidates, according to the AP Voter Poll. Approximately 70% of voters under 30 supported Democratic candidates in their local US House races. Meanwhile, nearly nine in 10 African American voters and roughly six in 10 Hispanic voters backed Democratic House candidates.
