Sunday, 18 January, 2026 After Microsoft cut around 15,000 jobs last year, many office employees no longer have access to internal library resources or paid news publications, The Verge reported. Microsoft began rolling back subscriptions to news and research services in November 2025, the report added. An internal FAQ reportedly said the cuts are part of a shift to an AI-powered learning experience.
