Pakistan's 17th drilling attempt has failed to discover reserves of oil and gas off Karachi coast. Operators of the well have decided to plug the well and abandon the project. "God willing the reserves will be so large that we will not need to import any oil," Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said earlier this year.
