Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has lost from his Guna Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh to BJP's Dr KP Yadav by over 1.25 lakh votes. Guna seat was held by Jyotiraditya's father Madhavrao Scindia from 1971-84 and 1999-2001 until his demise, following which Jyotiraditya won four straight times. Interestingly, Madhavrao's mother Vijaya Raje was a Guna BJP MP from 1989-99.
