Fifteen-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi recalled his reaction after RR bought him at the IPL 2025 auction. In a video shared by RR, he said he wondered why only two teams bid for him despite his trials going well. Sooryavanshi added that after spending 1-1.5 years with RR, he has thanked God "1,000 times" for joining the franchise.
