Nine days after Jagdeep Kumar brought back the body of his younger brother, Mandeep Kumar, from Delhi in a wooden casket, he announced a protest in Goraya on Monday. Mandeep died fighting on the Russian frontline in the Russia-Ukraine war. The protest seeks justice, martyr status, compensation and a lifetime pension for parents.
