Vijay Shekhar Sharma-led digital payments app Paytm, which launched its services in Canada last year, is now set to launch its services in Japan. The platform will launch the service in collaboration with Japanese multinational conglomerate SoftBank, which is also one of its investors. Paytm's parent company raised $1.4 billion from SoftBank last year in exchange for a 20% stake.
