Avi Verma, an AI researcher working at Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), has left the company to rejoin ChatGPT-maker OpenAI. This comes after another Indian-origin AI researcher, Rishabh Agarwal, left the company five months after being poached by Mark Zuckerberg. Meta was accused of poaching AI researchers and engineers from OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic by offering them high salaries.
