Swiggy has increased its platform fee by ₹2.59 or 17% from ₹14.99 to ₹17.58 per order to help the company "operate and maintain the platform". Earlier, Swiggy's closest competitor, Zomato, raised its platform fee by ₹2.40 to ₹14.90. The hike comes amid rising energy prices due to the Middle East war, which has impacted restaurants and delivery partners.
