Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted P Chidambaram, who was the Home Minister during the UPA government from 2008 to 2012, and said terrorist Afzal Guru could not be executed as long as Chidambaram was in office. Afzal Guru was convicted and later hanged in 2013 for his role in the 2001 terror attack on the Parliament.
