The mother of Agniveer M Murali Naik, killed in action during Operation Sindoor, has moved the Bombay HC seeking equal death benefits granted to regular soldiers. She said her son's sacrifice wasn't recognised with the dignity and security that the family of a martyred soldier should receive. The petition sought liberalised family pension, gratuity and ex-servicemen status, among other things.
