A 35-year-old man accused Agra police of torturing him for two days and breaking both his legs to force a confession in a murder case. He said that police officials beat him on his legs with sticks and hung him upside down until he lost consciousness. ACP Ram Pravesh Gupta was transferred, while three police officials were suspended.
