'Ghatiya Azam Khan Road' in Uttar Pradesh's Agra was formally renamed as 'Shri Ashok Singhal Marg' after its namesake, late VHP leader Ashok Singhal on Sunday. "It's part of the process to change the names of places that are reminiscent of periods of slavery and it'll continue," Mayor Naveen Jain said. The announcement for the renaming was made in September.
