Daily passengers on the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Metro have surged from 35,000 to nearly 1.5 lakh in three years. According to the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), over 11.5 crore commuters travelled between October 2022 and December 2025. Monthly ridership has steadily grown, crossing 44 lakh in 2025, highlighting rising public trust in the metro as a safe and reliable transport option.
