AI can help newsrooms produce more journalism: INMA CEO

INMA CEO Earl Wilkinson said AI could help newsrooms analyse large volumes of information and produce journalism they previously lacked resources to create. He said India's inexpensive print newspapers make digital subscriptions harder to sell and blanket paywalls may not work. Wilkinson added that publishers should explore reader revenue, events and e-commerce alongside advertising.
