A Sweden-based study using data from over 6 million adults found AI-models could predict skin cancer's risk with up to 73% accuracy compared to 64% using age and sex alone. Using diagnoses, medications and sociodemographic data, the models identified high-risk groups with about a 33% chance of developing melanoma. Researchers said such data could enable more efficient healthcare use.
