Shane Huntley, CTO of Google Threat Intelligence, said current cyberattacks have evolved and become more sophisticated. "What AI is allowing both attackers and defenders to do is operate faster and at greater scale," he explained. Huntley added, "We have already seen ransomware and cybercrime become very efficient and industrialised. AI is now accelerating that trend."
