AI lab uses virtual fruit fly brain to explore virtual world

AI lab Odyssey integrated a digital model of a fruit fly's brain connectome into Odyssey-3 world model. This enabled the insect's neural system to autonomously control flight through virtual environments. A video showed a harbour scene with boats, waterfront buildings and people, overlaid with an animated fruit fly navigating the space, demonstrating neuroscience's integration with generative AI.
