AI math results showed we're closer than expected: Sam Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said on the podcast that he is "extremely excited" to see how far AI can be pushed to discover new science. "The math results were quite amazing to me...we are closer to this milestone than I expected," he said. He wants to build a machine to find new physics insights, medical treatments and energy sources.
