India’s global capability centres (GCC) are entering a shift as artificial intelligence changes hiring, automation and innovation work. Shalini Pillay, who leads the KPMG India's GCC's segment nationally, told The Core that the next two to three years could decide whether GCCs move beyond cost savings to higher-value roles across healthcare, BFSI, retail analytics, digital twins and energy.
