An analysis by Testleaf stated that India will host more than a million artificial intelligence and machine learning roles by 2026, while the average annual salary growth is expected at 15-20%. Senior AI engineers, working remotely for US firms, can earn salary equivalents of ₹60-₹80 lakh per annum (LPA). Freshers can also expect package of ₹5-₹9 LPA for AI/ML roles.
