Renowned AI scientist Andrej Karpathy announced he is joining Anthropic. Sharing the update on X, the OpenAI Co-founder wrote, "The next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I'm very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D." After quitting OpenAI in 2017, Karpathy served as Director of AI at Tesla until 2022.
