In view of the growing threat posed by Artificial Intelligence, Himachal police have advised people to exercise extreme caution. According to police, cybercriminals are increasingly relying on fake KYC update messages, banking fraud calls, APK malware links, QR code scams, fake investment platforms, social media impersonation and AI-based deepfake voice and video calls to target individuals.
