Tech Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra dismissed fears surrounding artificial intelligence (AI), saying the IT services sector's role would "not diminish" but instead evolve and become even more critical in many ways. He added that India cannot be "only a consumer of intelligence built elsewhere" and "must also be a creator, shaper and trusted deployer of intelligence."
