AIIMS Delhi conducted India's first dedicated clinical trial of a cutting-edge and advanced brain stent technology made for treating severe strokes. The trial, which evaluated the Supernova Stent, has found excellent safety and efficacy outcomes in treatment of severe strokes, officials said. It can be used to remove clots in patients suffering from severe strokes caused by large vessel blockage.
