NUS researchers developed AiSee, a wearable device that helps people with visual impairment 'see' objects around them using AI. The user can easily capture an image of an object with the in-built camera and AiSee will identify it using AI. The device also provides additional information when requested by the user, making it an affordable and helpful assistive technology.
