The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has arrested an Air India crew member and his handler for smuggling gold worth over ₹1.41 crore from New York into Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The DRI intercepted the Air India crew member, who allegedly admitted to concealing the gold to avoid customs detection.
