Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said Air India earned ₹2,556.6 crore from flights operating under the Vande Bharat Mission till August 31. About four lakh of the total 11 lakh Indian nationals repatriated till August 31 were flown by Air India. Vande Bharat Mission, which repatriated citizens stuck abroad, was carried out solely by Air India till May 22.
