An Air India Express flight from Bengaluru to Kochi made an emergency landing at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport late Saturday night due to a fire detected in one of the engines shortly after takeoff. The flight, IX 1132, had just departed when the crew noticed flames in the right engine and immediately informed air traffic control.
