Air India expects to face $591 million (over ₹5,000 crore) in additional costs if a ban of Pakistan's airspace lasts for a year, Reuters reported citing a company letter. The letter said the additional costs include increased fuel costs for longer flight times by re-routed planes. India has also taken several steps against Pakistan following the terror attack in Pahalgam.
