During a press conference on the Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on Thursday, the government said that the aircraft started to lose height at 650 feet within seconds from take-off. "After exactly one minute, the aircraft crashed in Meghani Nagar, situated about 2 km from the Ahmedabad airport," Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha said.
