Air India receives hijack threat, airports put on high alert

Airports across India were put on high alert on Saturday after a threat call was received at the Air India control room in Mumbai regarding the hijacking of a flight to Pakistan. Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) ordered all airlines and CISF to follow specific enhanced measures to ensure security. This comes days after the Pulwama terror attack.
