Air India serves controversy with 'Hindu', 'Moslem' inflight meals
On 17 June, Congress’ Virudhunagar MP, Manickam Tagore raised concerns over Air India labelling meals on religious basis. The ‘dining’ experience’ page on the Air India website lists a 'Hindu meal' and a 'Moslem meal'. It specifies in the latter that meals are prepared in a 'certified halal kitchen'.
