A city consumer court has asked Air India to refund a cancellation fee of ₹44,029 to a Bengaluru resident after the airline charged the fee even though the passenger's London-bound flight was cancelled due to the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. The court said the cancellation wasn't the man's fault and also asked Air India to refund the incidental charges.
