Air India has begun using Mongolian airspace for a few North America flights from Delhi to cut operational costs, which have risen due to the closure of Pakistani airspace, PTI reported. The route is mostly used by some Air India flights from US' San Francisco and Canada's Vancouver. The airline reportedly operates 71 flights a week to North American destinations.
