The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) has approved the merger of Air India and Vistara, subject to certain conditions. The commitments offered by both parties to address the competition concerns of the regulator are sufficient, CCCS stated. The merger received approval from the Competition Commission of India in September last year.
