Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday launched the maiden flight of Bhubaneswar-based airline Air Odisha, connecting Ahmedabad and Mundra. The airline has been established under the Centre's UDAN scheme, aimed at promoting regional connectivity in India. Air Odisha, which started its non-scheduled operator services in 2012, received its scheduled commuter operator permit last week.
