US-based home-rental startup Airbnb has named Pixar Studios' former Chief Financial Officer Ann Mather as the first woman on its board. The 58-year-old also serves on the boards of Google parent Alphabet and web-streaming service Netflix. "I was immediately impressed by her deep financial technical expertise," Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said.
