Shares of Airbnb fell as much as 6% after a short report claimed it uncovered "numerous horror stories" that customers experienced. The report pointed to instances when guests found hidden cameras in bedrooms and bathrooms, and death of three friends from carbon monoxide, among others. It added Airbnb's top hosts are "building...their own booking platforms and offering cheaper deals".
