Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that Airbus is currently sourcing components worth over $1 billion from over 100 Indian suppliers. He posted the information on X after meeting the Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia, Jürgen Westermeier. Additionally, Airbus will soon set up an R&D Centre of Excellence at Gujarat's Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vaishnaw said.
