Airbus to add beds in passenger planes' cargo holds

Aeronautics company Airbus has collaborated with cabin equipment manufacturer Zodiac Aerospace to design and construct lie-flat beds that would fit in the cargo holds of its passenger airplanes. Passengers will be able to go down into the lower-deck cargo area for a proper nap. The beds will be initially offered on Airbus A330 aircraft by 2020, the companies said.
