In view of rising number of COVID-19 cases, the DGCA on Wednesday advised airlines to ensure that passengers are wearing face masks properly throughout the journey. "In case a passenger does not comply with the directions, strict action will be taken by airlines," it said. Airlines would also have to ensure there is proper sensitisation of passengers through various platforms.
