The Indian government will establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to advance commercial aircraft manufacturing under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Minister of Civil Aviation K Rammohan Naidu confirmed the move after the passage of the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak Bill 2024. This initiative aims to position India as a major player in aircraft production and export.
