Airtel board approves Bharti Hexacom IPO, govt to sell 20% stake

The board of Airtel has approved its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom's IPO of equity shares of face value ₹5 each, the company announced on Saturday. The IPO will be an offer for sale of up to 10 crore equity shares, representing 20% of the paid-up capital, by central PSU Telecommunications Consultants India Limited. Bharti Hexacom has filed a draft IPO prospectus.
